I think the transition from large software expenditures to free online CRM systems has increased in popularity; however, unfortunately not enough. Too many companies still continue to use expensive softwares such as ACT, GoldMine, and SalesForce, without noticing that nowadays there are companies such as OctopusCity.com which offers a just as good if not better software for FREE!!! I mean how can you beat 24/7 customer service for free. In my opinion the "buy-and-install" method is swiftly headed for the exit.
